(Kirkland, Wash.) Canoe & Kayak magazine, the world's leading paddlesports resource, recently announced it will host a new paddlesports-specific trade show September 9-11, 2010 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The North American Paddlesports Show will include an on-water demo day September 9 at nearby Lake Calhoun followed by two days in the convention center's beautiful 80,000-square-foot hall.
"The industry-wide desire for a paddlesports-specific trade show scheduled in the fall has become palpable," says Canoe and Kayak Publisher Jim Marsh. "Our decision to start one is a simple reaction to our client's needs." The North American Paddlesports Show will attract specialty dealers from across the continent at a time when the selling season is winding down, pre-season discounts are expiring and the heavy ordering cycle is about to begin.
Expected to be the largest gathering of paddlesports manufacturers and retailers ever, the North American Paddlesports Show will also feature a number of recognized industry veterans slated to lead dealer and outfitter educational seminars focused on helping paddlesports entrepreneurs expand their businesses. Retailers, schools and outfitters should contact Jim Marsh at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 425-821-1451.
