Jon Jon billfish blues continue on Pacific Warriors – Sneak preview of Friday night’s episode features a quality Big Island sailfish

Sneak preview of Friday night's episode features a quality Big Island sailfish

Discovery’s Pacific Warriors is back Friday night with Episode Three of the series based around kayak fishermen and a woman kayak-based spearfisher and from the looks of the sneak preview Jon Jon has escaped the hassles of Big Island locals only to find he is stuck with bad luck when it comes to connecting with the record blue marlin he has boastfully claimed he will catch.
Some viewers like Jon Jon’s confidence and felt he was the victim in last week’s episode, while others find the Oahu-based kayak guide an unsympathetic character who is only getting what’s coming to him because of his on-screen vibe.
However you view the drama around Jon Jon, you have to admit he is not shy with foul-mouthed utterances, yet that’s no strange thing around fishermen when it’s just da boys out on the water and fishing fate turns against you.
Still you could make a highlight reel of Jon Jon “bleep” “bleep” coverups just from the short trailer shown here. Hey, it is reality TV after all and swearing is pretty common out there on the blue. On national TV, well, it is what it is.
This sailfish is hardly the blue marlin Jon Jon is looking for on Pacific Warriors.
