Still the champion: The Jacksonville Kayak Fishing Classic is the world’s largest paddle and pedal powered tournament for the eighth year running. This year’s edition went on despite challenging weather, yet still produced a record for the Slam division (the most prestigious of the categories). 403 competitors raised some $35,000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville.
