OR Dry Peak bagger

Day-trip drybags are great, but sometimes basic roll-top simplicity leaves you searching for more—namely carrying straps for the transit to and from the water when you’ve already got your hands full with boat, paddle and whatever else. I liked the OR Dry Peak bagger as a minimalistic 9-ounce solution it markets as a “waterproof summit backpack.” It’s the ultimate dry pack. I’ll probably never use the ice axe sleeve, but the attachment points do work for your helmet or water bottle. The padded straps don’t occupy much extra stowed room, and are a welcome feature on every “approach” to the summit that is your put-in, or on the way back down to your vehicle.
