Updates from ICF freestyle worlds in N.C.
Bryson City, NC — Today is a big day at the World Championships as the major competitions face off for semi finals. America’s Clay Wright currently sits in lead of squirt boats with a total score of 1220, and Great Britain’s Claire O’Hara sits in the top women’s squirt with a total score of 1253.
It’s been an intensely close heat for K1 Jr. Mens with Alec Voorhees from the U.S. as the front runner with a total score of 966, US Smith in second with 945, and Sweden’s Karlsson taking third with 913 points.
Coming up in just a few moments is C1 Men’s semifinals where America’s Jordan Poffenberger currently stands in first. Soon after is the K1 Men’s and women’s where the number of athletes will be cut to a mere five for finals tomorrow.
