When we last heard from the Rediscover North America canoe expedition, they were in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan, facing a slew of forest fires on their 5,200-mile journey from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic Ocean. Since then, the fires cleared up and the crew endured windy days, long portages, and some whitewater before making it to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The beards are big and the end of the expedition is near! Stay tuned for the final update from the cross-continental voyage.
