Plunging over a waterfall in a kayak is terrifying enough. Doing it head first on a tiny plastic river board is downright insane. Watch Mike McVey plunge head-first over massive waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge on his river board in between kayaking laps on stunning whitewater around the world.

While McVey claimed the 101-foot free fall off of Oregon’s Metlako Falls established a new world record for the tallest waterfall descent on a river board, members of World Riverboarding Association called the record attempt, documented below, into question with this recent statement.
