Two paddlers in an inflatable kayak overshoot their mark and end up high and dry. The rear paddler decides that the best course of action is to get out of the boat and walk, but as he does, the kayak moves off the rock. The front paddler is able to keep the boat in an eddy for the rear paddler to hop back in, which he does. At which point they promptly flip and swim. That's what we call the old fail-save-fail.
