Mark Dubois was willing to give up everything to keep the Stanislaus River from being dammed. In the 1970s he campaigned tirelessly against the project, eventually chaining himself in the filling reservoir as an act of protest. Now with California in its worst drought on record, the reservoir has receded and the river flows once more. The look you see on Mark's face in this video is pure joy.
