James Smith, Dan Rea-Dickins and Luc Mehl crossed Iceland in July 2015, traveling 80 miles across some of the world’s most rugged and unwelcoming volcanic terrain. Crossing the interior of Iceland is a notoriously difficult task and the area is completely unpopulated. Check out their journey as they traverse Iceland’s remote interior landscape by skis, crampons, and packrafts.
