Finally upgraded to a used Warren sailing kayak from my Hobie AI. She is a pure sailing machine. At 65 lbs, the whole rig is lighter than my Hobie hull alone. Performance in speed was increased by almost factor of 2! The A.I. is still best for fishing and choppier conditions, but I tend to sail more with the Warren due to it’s light weight and easier transpo on the rack. I want to sail test the speed limits on this thing, can’t wait to get an offshore 15 knot day.
