So when Canoe & Kayak’s staff dug through the archives for this month’s From the Vault, we thought it would be appropriate to feature a story that came out in March 21 years ago. The 1982 issue covered the rush to dam all of America’s rivers and what that meant for paddlers looking for whitewater.
