Point65 Tequila at 41 feet Carrying 9 paddlers at Summer Outdoor Retailer Might Have Been a World Record
At the recent Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City, Utah Point 65 put together 10 Tequila! sections and created a 41-foot Tequila! kayak for 9 paddlers at the outdoor demo. Is this a world record? We need to check with Guinness but regardless, it was fantastic fun and created an incredible amount of attention. Perfect for demo days and other events including team building activities.
About the Tequila!
The Tequila features Point65´s innovative Snap-Tap system (patent pending), the single-seater snaps apart and re-assembles in seconds for a kayak that is safe, stable, and strong making it by far the most easy to carry kayak on the market. You can transport the Tequila! in the trunk of your car and store it under your bed. Tandem – solo, all in one! No need to buy two kayaks. Snap in the mid-section and your single seater is transformed into a high-performance double seater.
Introducing the Martini
Following the success of the Tequila! we have launched the Martini, the sit inside version. The Martini! is a decked take-a-part touring kayak with a large cockpit, keel rudder, thigh braces, bow and aft hatches and a comfortable padded seat. A kayak with which to explore and then getting it back home in the trunk of your car. Like the sit on top version, the Martini! features the innovative snap tap solution (patent pending).
The 285 cm/ 9’4’’ Martini! breaks apart into two manageable 142cm/4’8’’ pieces each weighing less than 11 kg/ 24,3 lbs. With an additional mid piece your Martini! Solo is transformed into a 416cm/13’8’’ performance Tandem kayak.
