(Corpus Christi, Tx) September 13, 2011 – Paddle your way to Corpus Christi for a fit and festive event Saturday, October 22, 2011. The 2nd Annual Paddle Prix and Rally features a 20-mile race starting at the USS Lexington, rounding Corpus Christi Beach, through Nueces Bay and up the Nueces River for the serious and experienced paddlers. Ralliers along for the “ride” will begin at the 8 mile rally route starting at the Port of Corpus Christi boat launch on the Nueces River. Both the race and rally routes end at LaBonte Park. Participants can use a wide range of vessels including kayaks, stand up paddle boards and canoes.
Racers will be competing for $500 in cash to the first place winners in Race Solo, Race Tandem, and Race Paddle Board!!! And now you can register online at www.ccpaddleprix.com

FEES: Rally Fee is $15.00 per paddler. Race Fee is $25.00 per paddler. $5 discount for all American Canoe Association members (must list ACA membership # on form).
