The Adventure Fishing World Championship is moving according to a post on the unique event’s website. In 2013 and 2014, two-angler teams took on the wilds of Southern Florida, covering a grueling series of checkpoints spread over 15 to 20 miles of water.

In 2015, the action will shift to Louisiana’s remote Delacroix Island. The challenge should be stiffer and the fish larger. “When [we] scouted out the 2015 location the first thing we noticed is how.. kinda lawless this place is. This was ground zero during Hurricane Katrina,” event sponsor Woody Callaway of Native Watercraft said of the location.
