Thermarest Treo Chair
You don’t appreciate the comfort and utility of a camp chair until you bring one along on a trip. My first experience came with a folding stadium-style chair; it was better than sitting on the ground, but not so life-altering as to convince me to stuff it in my canoe pack or wedge it into the hatch of my sea kayak for every trip. Thermarest’s new Treo chair, however, could be a game-changer. It features an ultra-comfy, hammock-style seat with great back support, perched atop a rugged-three-legged ABS base that keeps you well off the ground. It’s so luxurious I’ve set the Treo up in the corner of my home office for moments (err, hours) when I need a break from screen time. Amazingly, the Treo packs smaller than a two-liter soda bottle and weighs only barely two pounds.
