We all want things that make our lives a little easier. Though most of us would say a KitchenAid mixer for Christmas cookies or car seat warmers for winter paddling seem extravagant, we all secretly enjoy the little daily boosts to our overall well-being.

That’s how I feel about the Avex Brazos Autoseal Water Bottle. You don’t need it; any plastic water bottle will do (though make sure you always have SOME water bottle in your boat for hydration). Yet I grew spoiled with its one-touch AUTOSEAL lid that automatically closes between sips. It only takes one hand to open and close the bottle, which I especially love on those cold days when I want my hands out of my pogies as little as possible. The valve opens with a push of a button, eliminating the need to unscrew, maneuver any extra straw pieces, whatever. It also remains leak-free when closed, and is pretty durable, taking a few beatings falling down rocks or out of my car. Oh, and because everyone seems to be obsessed with this right now, it’s BPA free, so no worries there.

Overall
Its innovative design allows for ease of use while remaining leak free.
