Billed as the largest paddling event in the country, the Ohio River Music & Outdoor Festival kicks off at Coney Island on Friday, June 19 at 4:00 p.m. This year’s event features stand up paddle board (SUP) clinics, a kayak fishing tournament, a used canoe and kayak sale, a silent auction & basket raffle and overnight camping. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge – hosted by New York Outrigger is one of the largest sporting events in New York Harbor and one of the most prestigious outrigger canoe races in the world. On Saturday, June 20, men’s, women’s, and co-ed crews wil race along a challenging and visually-stunning course throughout New York City. Established in 1997, this iron outrigger race is 15 miles long for the men’s and women’s divisions, while the mixed division is 11 miles.
