Whitewater Conference
Want to get a whitewater park going in your home town? A conference coming up in October will enable you to meet the experts, people who have been there and done that in cities from Reno, Nevada, to Athens, Greece.
The Whitewater Courses and Parks Conference takes place October 5-7, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
In this inaugural year, the conference will give you a solid grounding and overview of the opportunities and challenges facing whitewater course and park development today. Panel presentations and discussions will feature public professionals, community leaders and technical experts discussing the following topics:
Design considerations
Funding options
Economic impacts of courses
Risk management
Stakeholder development process
