The keen kayaker convinced his employers that the yellow kayak was more maneuverable and cheaper in the long run. He explained: “I can cover up to eight miles quite easily.”


Korbel, who used to run an adventure centre and was formerly an advanced instructor for the British Canoe Union, checks that moorings are in the right place and properly tagged, as well as helping to resolve any problems and disputes which sometimes arise among boat owners.
