Fastest OC-6 Mixed Team wins $500
It’s time for the world’s next great kayak race! The Sanibel Causeway near Ft. Myers Beach, Florida will host this 10-mile race that will be based on the Sound Rowers Classification rules. The three divisions of kayak craft are Sea Kayak (SK), Fast Sea Kayak (FSK) and High Performance Kayak (HPK) which includes surf skis and specific kayak models. Outrigger classes are OC-1, OC-2 and OC-6. Racers will be broken into 3 groups: Open (18-45), Masters (46-64), and Veterans (65+). Fees are $70 per racer or $200 per OC-6 team. CALUSA DASH, Nov. 6
Fastest SUP in 12’6″ category wins $500
Standup Paddlers get ready! The Dash is a 4-mile course designed for SUP that also includes kayakers looking for a shorter course. No kayaks over 18 feet will be allowed to enter.
